This home, along with another home in the same block at 1729 Blalock Street, were listed and sold at roughly the same time.
Ironically, I was the listing agent on both of these townhomes a year and a half prior to these most recent sales. Within weeks of each other, both of the new owners called me and asked me to represent them in the sale of their homes.
Now it was not lost on me that they recently purchased these properties with a different agent, yet they called ME to represent them just a year and a half later. That alone was such an honor.
Listing the two homes at the same time actually helped me sell each of them. I was able to discuss with every agent who showed one but not both, what the other offered. It brought more showings to each of them! One wasn’t better than the other, they just had different features therefore had different price points.
The approach to prep for sale was unique to each of these homes based on both what the seller felt comfortable with and what the house needed. One house opted to take advantage of the complementary professional staging consultation and make a few changes based on what was suggested. The other did the same, but we also offered this house partial complementary staging because they didn't live in the home. Even though both of these homes were on the market at the same time, they felt very different and offered different features/upgrades! Both sold and the sellers were very happy!
